What If Death Does Not Automatically Free the Soul?

Earthbound Spirits, Distorted Afterlife Beliefs, And The Spiritual Crisis Of Our Time

One of the clearest signs of this dark age of materialism is that most people no longer think deeply about death.

It is ironic. None of us gets out of here “alive,” yet we feel uncomfortable contemplating death.

Death is as much a part of life as birth, yet we are so removed from our spiritual essence that many people do not seriously consider the possibility of life after death or the continuation of consciousness beyond the physical body.

Part of this is the fear of death.

We avoid looking at it directly and facing this fear, so we compensate by obsessing over the body, youthfulness, longevity, physical appearance, and physical survival, while giving little attention to the soul, the afterlife, or the spiritual consequences of how we live.

Many people are so entrapped in a materialistic, atheist worldview that they laugh at the idea of life after death or the existence of a soul because it cannot be “proven” scientifically.

But what if the way we live, what we believe, what we are attached to, and the forces we open ourselves to while incarnated directly affect what happens after death?

The Excarnation Jam

This is one of the central themes of our podcast episode with Thomas Mayer, author of COVID Vaccines: Consequences for the Soul, Spirit, and Life After Death.

Mayer has worked with the deceased for over thirty years and has helped them transition.

Based on his supersensible research, he says we are now facing what he calls an “excarnation jam,” a major blockage in the normal process of the soul’s departure from the physical body after death.

According to Mayer, an increasing number of the deceased today remain earthbound rather than entering the spiritual realms.

He emphasized that this phenomenon is unprecedented in its scale. According to him, about half of the deceased today are earthbound and do not enter the spiritual realms after death.

That is one in every two humans.

Similar observations have also been reported by other practitioners and supersensible healers who have worked with the dead for many decades, such as Dr. William Baldwin, Dr. Edith Fiore, Iris Paxino, and others.

An earthbound spirit is the surviving consciousness of a deceased human being who has not completed the transition after death.

They may remain attached to the earth plane because of trauma, addiction, sudden death, suicide, pharmaceutical or psychiatric drugs, lack of spiritual development, or a hardened materialistic orientation in life.

This is especially prevalent in our age of materialism, where most people are disconnected from Spirit, oriented toward the external world, and lacking a conscious inner life. Few genuinely aspire to their higher nature.

This outward focus is further amplified by the rise of technology in the emerging era of AI and transhumanism. Influenced by occult adverse forces, these trends serve to deepen materialism and can contribute to keeping the soul earthbound after death.

Another major cause is distorted spiritual and religious beliefs.

Interestingly, many dogmatic fundamentalist Christians, including Christian priests, have reportedly been found stuck earthbound due to erroneous beliefs about the afterlife.

Iris Paxino points out in Bridges Between Life and Death that even common phrases like “rest in peace” can create false ideas about life after death.

Death is not merely sleep, rest, or passive release. It is an active process that requires spiritual awareness. The soul has to confront its life, attachments, unresolved emotions, beliefs, karma, shadow, and spiritual orientation.

That is also why the more sincerely we engage in psychospiritual work during our physical incarnation, integrate the shadow, heal trauma, and learn our karmic lessons, the “easier” the transition in the afterlife may become.

Whatever we avoid in this life, we will face in the afterlife. No one is judging, punishing, or rewarding us. There is no external God or deity handing out rewards and punishments. The idea of “heaven and hell” is self-created through our own state of consciousness.

So when we casually say “RIP,” we may be repeating a comforting phrase while missing the deeper reality: the deceased may not simply be resting. They may be undergoing a difficult transition, or in some cases, they may not have transitioned at all.

Distorted Afterlife Beliefs

Another distorted belief is the growing narrative in fringe conspiracy circles that “reincarnation is a trap to recycle souls” or that the “tunnel of light is a trap.”

From the spiritual perspective Mayer points to, which also aligns with Steiner’s warnings about the 8th Sphere, this belief can be extremely dangerous.

Entering the tunnel of light is essential for the soul to move forward, avoid becoming earthbound, remain protected from adversarial spirits, and not be pulled into lower earthbound realms.

Ironically, these “don’t go into the light” narratives are most likely seeded by hostile, adverse forces themselves.

Their aim is to prevent souls from reaching the Light after death and instead keep them trapped in the earth realm, where they can be influenced, harvested, or used by darker forces.

The Spiritual Crisis of Our Time

I just re-uploaded our podcast with Thomas Mayer because it could not be published on YouTube due to censorship issues.

It is not only an interview. Mayer also gives a slide presentation, which you can download, where he shares his latest research into how the COVID vaccines may affect the human energy system, contribute to earthbound states after death, and increase susceptibility to materialistic and transhumanist influences.

This is not only a crisis for the dead. Billions of earthbound spirits also affect the psychic and spiritual atmosphere of the living world. These earthbound souls can attach to the aura of living human beings, creating additional burdens and disturbances.

Mayer describes cases in which earthbound spirits become vulnerable to hostile forces that feed on their life force.

He also speaks about vaccine-related beings in the aura, the Soratic forces behind transhumanism, the spiritual consequences of technology, and why fear-based paranoia only weakens our spiritual defenses.

Mayer stresses that anyone can help the dead, even without clairvoyant abilities. Simple actions such as inwardly connecting with the deceased, offering heartfelt prayers, or calling upon divine beings can open a healing pathway.

This is not about fear, and anyone who claims this is just fear-mongering does not understand the necessity of occult spiritual knowledge during these times.

If this information brings up fear, then that fear itself becomes something to work through and face consciously.

It is about spiritual knowledge, discernment, and the urgent need to orient our lives toward the Divine while we are still incarnated.

It is also common sense. Ask yourself: if our entire lives are centered only on the physical body, technology, biological health, material security, and external success, without any inner orientation toward our spiritual essence, what happens to the soul when the body dies?

That is the question very few people want to face.

But as Thomas Mayer emphasized, this may be one of the most important questions of our time.

Humanity’s battle is not merely political, medical, technological, or psychological.

It is spiritual.

Soul Embodiment is the Great Work

What many people do not know is that the esoteric “Great Work,” or what we may call psychospiritual work today, was also done with an understanding of the afterlife experience, so the “soul knows where to go” and can more consciously engage in the purification process without getting stuck.

Connecting to and bringing forth your essence, your soul-being, your true Self, not the ego-personality, is the most important work of our time.

Soul embodiment is the Great Work.

It has become more essential to cultivate spiritual strength, inner work, prayer, discernment, and a conscious relationship with the Divine.
